M Group Properties designs and builds homes people actually want to live in. Most of our work is medium-density townhouses in established Christchurch suburbs, built to a standard that holds up to daily life rather than to a photograph.
Our directors bring more than twenty years of residential construction experience between them, and the company is a Registered Master Builders member through the Canterbury branch. We handle the full process in-house, from land acquisition and resource consent through design, construction and handover, which is why buyers deal with the same people from first enquiry to the day they get the keys.
How we design
Our experience in high-density living informs the way we plan a home: maximising natural light, protecting privacy between neighbours, using space efficiently and choosing durable, low-maintenance materials. We pay attention to soundproofing and energy efficiency because they determine how a home feels to live in over years, not weeks. Street-facing entrances, pedestrian-friendly layouts and landscaped shared areas all contribute to neighbourhoods that work rather than just developments that fill a site.
Where we build
We select locations close to the city centre, parks, schools and amenities, in suburbs where demand is already established. Current and completed projects span Addington, Sydenham, St Albans, Spreydon, Riccarton and Papanui, with further developments in Queenstown and Wellington.
What happens after handover
Every home comes with a 12 month build warranty and full product warranties on materials and appliances. New builds take time to settle in, so we expect to hear from owners and we respond. Aftercare runs through a dedicated email address and the team is reachable by phone.
